Chestnut Meats come close…A panel of experts including Sophie Grigson (celebrity chef) & Keith Fisher (CEO of the institute of meat) judged samples from hundreds of Independent Butcher, Supermarkets and Major Manufacturers, selecting 2019’s finest bangers for each region. Considering this is the first time we have ever entered Sausages into any competition, we are delighted with the result! Each butcher is only allowed to enter four different flavours and we were placed with three of our flavours. Why don’t you come down to the shop and try some?
